Terms of use
The short version: use HelpMom to help people you know, and do not rely on it in an emergency.

The service
HelpMom lets two paired phones make a video call in which a helper sees through the other person's camera and shows them what to do. It is provided by RepRapPro AB, a Swedish company with registration number 556966-8345. By using HelpMom you accept these terms.
Who it is for
HelpMom is meant for adults helping adults they know. Pair only with people you trust: during a call, a paired helper sees what your camera sees and hears what your microphone hears.
Not for emergencies
HelpMom is not an emergency service and must not be relied on when someone's health or safety is at risk. Call your local emergency number.
What a helper says and shows is the helper's own advice. We do not check it. Take care with electricity, gas and water, and call a professional when unsure.
What you make
Guides, films, notes and pictures you make in HelpMom are yours. They are stored on your phones and sent directly between paired phones. You are responsible for what you send. Do not write passwords or bank codes in notes.
HelpMom Plus
Plus is an optional subscription for helpers. It is bought through the App Store or Google Play and paid to Apple or Google. New subscribers get the first week free. After that it renews every year at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play account at least 24 hours before the period ends, and it will not renew.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. If we change the price or what Plus includes for coming periods, you are told in advance through the store. If you stop subscribing, what you have already made can still be opened and sent.
Fair use
Do not use HelpMom to harm, deceive or watch someone against their will, and do not try to break its security or disturb the service for others.
Availability and liability
HelpMom depends on phones and networks we do not control, and is provided as it is. We may change the service or end it. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Changes to these terms
When the terms change, this page gets a new date at the top. If you keep using HelpMom after that, the new terms apply.
Law
Swedish law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules in the country where you live.
